This is a space for some of the websites, blogs, books, etc., that we think might be of interest to those who are following the Peace for Earth Walk. We will add to the list as new sites come to our attention.
The first one that comes to mind is fellow Quaker Rolene Walker's website for her in-progress "Walk with Earth" from San Diego, Calif., to Santiago, Chile:
A second one is Marshall Massey's Earth Witness website, including a blog for his journey, much of it on foot, in 2006 from Nebraska to Virginia in preparation for his plenary address to Baltimore Yearly Meeting. His meetings with Friends groups along the way paralleled what we are doing on our Peace for Earth Walk:
A third site is Community Climate Change, which we became acquainted with during our stay in Vancouver, B.C. In November 2008 we participated in and helped facilitate one of their Global Warming Cafe events, which was co-sponsored by Vancouver Friends.
